Kayak Tours – Double Island (Half Day)

Ready for the experience of a lifetime? Come on our Double Island Kayak Tours.  We are open daily for tours. We head off from the south end of Palm Cove and paddle out to Double Island from there.  Once we are over there, its an incredible experience.  There are mangroves to explore, coral reef to paddle over and even a cave to explore if the conditions are right.

More often than not, the water is crystal clear.  There is an abundance of  small rays and turtles swimming  through the water, and its even possible to see a dolphin, dugong or pod of whales on the tour, but you have to be very lucky.

How long is the tour

Our tours normally go for 3.5 hours. First off we paddle over to the edge of Double Island Reef. This usually takes  20 minutes.  Once we get there, it is time to explore the reef.  More often than not we see lots of different marine life like:

• Eagle rays
• Shovel nose sharks
• Mangrove rays
• Colourful fish
• Sea Turtles
